Tour Summary

In Freeport Bahamas, we have our Dolphin Swim, but then we have our Dolphin Dive! Scuba diving in Freeport with our team of friendly bottlenose dolphins is the type of Bahamas dolphin encounter that few ever get to actually experience. Freeport in Grand Bahama Island is, in fact, one of the few areas in the Bahamas that have an actual scuba diving with the dolphins excursion.

Our Freeport Dive With the Dolphins experience takes you out on our dive boat to the open ocean of the Bahamas. Here off the shores of Grand Bahama Island, the waters are warm and clear throughout the year, creating the perfect conditions for scuba divers. Our friendly and trained team of bottlenose dolphins will follow our dive boat out to our dive destination. Once we reach our dive destination, it’s time for the adventure! Scuba divers will strap on their scuba gear and jump in the water where the dolphins will eagerly greet them!

Scuba divers will then get the chance to swim and play with these intelligent mammals underneath the surface of the water. The expert dolphin trainers on the boat will have offered divers with instructions on how to properly interact and communicate with the dolphins. Divers will understand what hand gestures and movements to use to communicate effectively with the dolphins and to incite them to perform their playful tricks for you! The dolphins are sure to impress you with their charm and their intelligence. These marine mammals are widely known to be some of the absolute most intelligent non-human creatures on the planet, and this Freeport Dolphin Dive is guaranteed to show you just how amazing, smart, and beautiful these dolphins are. And the best part about this scuba diving excursion is that you get to interact with the dolphins out in the open ocean! These sociable animals will make you feel right at home and almost as if you were one of them!

This Freeport Dolphin Dive goes out twice weekly. All participants must be scuba certified and have been diving within the past three years. If you fall under these requirements, then do not hesitate to reserve a spot on one of the Bahamas’s most amazing and unique scuba diving experiences!

I have been to the Bahamas many times, but Dive with the Dolphins in Freeport is one of my favorite trips! It includes everything that everyone should do here. As a Bahamas veteran, I can say only the best about this experience!

Thanks to the professional guides! I was a bit worried about kayaking because I had never done it before, but the instructions were great and I had such a good time!
